The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, officiated the soft launching of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS)
which took place from April 13 to 19, 2022, in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.
The event aimed to introduce JIS as a new symbol of collaboration, inclusivity, urban regeneration sustainability, and the economic revival of Jakarta.
The event featured matches from four teams in the International Youth Championship (IYC) and included 75 performers and 127 creative workers, with coverage broadcast on various news stations.
